FEEDBACK FROM MY PIECES AT THE HUFFINGTON POST
loved this write up its was so me, i say was, cus i have a gr8 mh team and bill insight to my illness that i'm fairly level now with minor downs/ups. but i do remember the fantastic feeling of being manic, just weren't nice for the folk round me. i've lost a beautiful wife @20yrs and two lovely kids who i haven't seen for 10yrs now all thro' manic depression, i had a successful building biz etc but everything went thro' the window when i was low or high, how i managed to work i don't know. i've also been in a 'nuthouse' for 3 durations as a complete windowlicker, yep possibly terms some people won't like to hear, but i take(can now) fun out of my illness and mostly find it funny when others do inc. comedians but not when the illness as others are trivilised.i have a sound family and m8s who know i ay the 'full ticket' but so what.
If you can't laugh at your own absurdity, you'll never survive. I've spent too much time on regret, I will have this illness til the day I die, but I'm not going to let it kill me, or my spirit. I am crying because this was so funny, I can relate....Madame Tussaud! HA! Please keep sharing, it helps to know that there are others who understand! :D

What a wonderful and refreshingly honest account of what is essentially a very debiltating illness.
Very brave article
